Lodging

All volunteers are responsible for their own lodging costs. We have tried multiple options including all-inclusive resorts and private villas. We have found that all-inclusive options are typically easier especially with our busy work days. Arranging meals and other needs after a long day without dedicated staff has been difficult. In the past we have stayed at Sunset Beach Resort in Montego Bay, Grand Palladium Resort, and even a private villa in Ocho Rios.

We have recently arranged a great option through Iberostar Rose Hall. We receive excellent pricing due to contracts with our of our regular volunteer families. The resort offers easy meals, flexibility, and nice accommodations for all the volunteers. The amenities are also great after a long days work and on vacation days. The close proximity to our work sites and the airport is another great benefit.

All ground transportation is arranged and provided by JMP.
