Blessed Assurance – September 11, 2013

Day 3 of construction. Thankful for everything coming together as planned. With an excellent day of work the day prior, we moved on to finalizing the coop and small jobs. The water was connected to the waterers (almost — needed a few elbows). The doors were made with good locks so we could actually leave some tools rather than hauling up and down the mountain. The huge layer box was build (great job Terry and Pete). The electricity was run (thanks Roger) and mostly works with 2 inches of wire to spare. One more day to finalize after a brief hardware store run and we will be ready for chickens. Thankfully, with little to do tomorrow — we will sleep in and start at 10am.
